This thread is closed per se (it's 10 years old for gosh sakes).

Hi Randy, long time no talk. I've been jonesing for Wilson Sasha II's for some time. Alexia I's are falling into price range now but my room may not be big enough to make it worthwhile. I currently have Sophia I's and really love the sound but think there is more to be had. I've recently been thinking of adding good subs to them and wonder what that performance sounds like in the Sophia's. Noticed you are running subs with yours. Can you give a little insight as to your experience and my thoughts of upgrading?

Hi Larry! Been forever. The active crossover and subs helped the Sophia 2’s immensely. So as not to hijack this “thread from the dead” here is a link to a fuller discussion:

I have the Maxx II's. I had them for 10 years now. Great speakers.

Default Don’t own a Wilson now

But I plan on buying the Alexx soon. I’ve been a Magnepan owner all my life and was planning on buying the 30.7, which is a amazing speaker that punches way beyond its weight class. But I’ve been blessed and I decided to go for the gusto and get the amazing Alexx and team it with the Lamm ML2.2 and LL1.1 Signature preamp Cheers!
