Nice. The real deal. Did the block start life as a HD302 with the cross-bolted mains?

Craig, being a Chevy guy I'm not as familiar with FoMoCo's strokers, I assume it utilizes a 351 crank ?

Whatever, it looks like great fun, especially on those long straights at higher speeds.

It’s a special stroker crank for the 302 stroker - not a 351 crank.. It’s a 3.25 inch stroke versus a 3.0 standard 302. We are also bored to 4.040” versus a standard 4.000”. All in all, those ‘thousands’ and our other items mean a lot more horsepower and a 349 cubic inch engine. Specific cam, Pistons, rings, lifters, rockers, Edelbrock Heads, Holley 650 carb etc. Lots of ARP bolts around the truck.

Here is the result. We ran for all but 2 hours of the ~15 hours of racing. About 270 laps around a 2.54 mile track. Three tired and happy guys.IMG_0432.jpg
