Default Aries 3 tonearm lift

Anyone using one of those auto tonearm lifts on an Aries 3? I had set my mind on a My Little Fwend but it looks like I would not have enough room to mount it on the Aries 3. The distance from the tonearm base to the edge of the ring clamp when inner groove is reached is very small.

I use the Q-up on my Prime with the ring clamp. I know it's not as nice as some of the others but it gets the job done. I've moved it from 3 different tables so far.

It's a tight fit with ring clamp. I do not have it permanently afixed to plinth.

Default Aries 3 tonearm lift

I use the Little Fwend on my Aries 3D with periphery ring. Works great!!

Just realized I posted the same last October, but the difference is I didn't have the ring at that point. I moved my Little Fwend up to the arm base.

Mine is butted up against the arm base, not permanently fixed, and ring clamp is still an issue when lifting it off. It does hit the LilFwend.

Have moved mine to the arm base as Scirica suggested - thank you.
