Now that you mention it John I just remembered that the iPad app was announced a few days before I ordered my Sooloos. Right after ordering my Sooloos I went right out and bought an iPad mostly because of the Sooloos app.

Also note: the app does look a little different on an iPod/iPhone even though it's the same app. Some people like the app better on the smaller device. I have both and I like it better on the iPad.

I have my Sooloos hooked up to my bedroom system. I listen to it every night as I go to sleep, usually listening to audio plays. If I wakeup in the middle of the night I turn back on a short playlist to go back to sleep to. In my bedroom I like the iPod better as a remote because it's not as bright and is less annoying to use in a dark bedroom when trying to sleep.

The page at the iTunes store that I referenced allows you to select screen shots of either the iPhone or the iPad.

I prefer the iPad version also, but the iPhone/iPod Touch is sometimes pretty handy to have around.

Hi All,

Well I have just unwrapped my new MC200 and am super excited!!!! The packaging is superb. Very nice touches and attention to detail which is nice.

I already have a problem though!!!

When I open the Control Mac software, it just keeps on saying, Looking for Sooloos...

The sooloos is powered up and linked via cable to my router. I am using a standard internet cable..... Is this the correct cable to use? Bit disappointing that they didn't supply one in the box.

Can anyone help me out?

Are you sure that you have the network cable plugged into the "Sooloos" RJ-45 connector on the MC200 as opposed to the "SpeakerLink" RJ-45 connector?

I have tried different cat5 cables and its definitely in the correct port and my router is working fine...... Any ideas? The lights next to the Cat5 cable at the back of the machine are working working. One constant at the bottom and the other is blinking at the top.

The only thing else I can think of to check is to be sure your ethernet cable that is connecting your MC200 to your router is functioning properly. Can you temporarily connect another computer to that cable in place of the MC200 to make sure there is a good connection to your network?

You can also try browsing your router and look for the MAC address of the MC200. Your router is probably (192.168.1.1) hopefully with a password.

Your MAC address is probably printed in plain view on the MC200. Either the computer or the MC200 is not on the network. Good luck!

Ignore my previous post - you posted while I was writing it. All I can suggest is to call your dealer.
