Default Need a 32-bit Windows Laptop

I'm looking for an inexpensive 32-bit Windows laptop. I have the Universal Remote MSC-400 Base Station that can only be programmed with a 32-bit system so I'd like to get one before they completely disappear. Is it possible to still get a new 32-bit laptop?

Steve.......Just buy an inexpensive laptop, maybe an Asus or something like it. Then buy the Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit w/SP1 - License and media ($60.00) and install it on the hard drive.

I just did a quick Google search for Windows 7 32 bit laptops. Staples has a refurbished HP with that operating system for $201.99. That might be an option, too.

Thanks Dan... I already have a copy of Windows 7 32-bit. I'm not real PC literate, but will this work on any of the current laptops? I'd rather get a new Lenovo or Asus if possible. It'll be great if you could PM me with a recommendation. I've already seen the refurbs from Staples and the reviews are not good. Thanks for your guidance!

Steve.......If your copy of Windows 7 32-bit software has been previously registered with Microsoft it will not work for you long before Microsoft blocks it from starting until you pay a license fee. Better to just purchase a laptop that has Windows 7 32-bit preinstalled or purchase the operating system with SP1 License and install it on the computer of your choice.
