Does anyone have/recommend using stands or some type of isolation with Aerial 7ts? If so, what?

I have mine on 4" solid maple speaker plinths with brass carpet piercing footers. Mapleshade is where you buy them. The speaker spikes sit in brass "Sonic Saucers" from Audio Advisor.

I like the way they look on the plinths, and it moves the tweeter above ear level which seems to give a better balance to the sound.

Default 7t

Just Got a pair of 7t today, anyone with advice about placement, toe in.
Have about 3,5 meters between the speakers and about the same to set spot.

While it is a personal preference, some would say a bit of toe out with these speakers is preferred. The soundstage seems to widen out a bit and become a bit more distinct.

All in all, I'd say play with them a bit to set them where they sound best to you!

Thanks Yamaki
Toe out, its the opposite of what is normal I think. Some speakers performer a batter soundstage with toe in. To gået better placement og voice and instruments.

I'm still trying to get my image more pinpoint. I currently have them slightly toed-in, but I'm going to try toeing them out. Thanks! In general what happens with no toe-in?

Hi Ricjor1.
I have tried different positions and currently there are approximately 7-8 degrees toe in. At the toe out positions placement of instruments becomes a little difust.

Have you found the golden cradle?

Default Recommended Subs for 6T or 7T?

I know people here augment their Aerial 6T's and 7T's with subs. I have the 6T's, which has a low frequency of 35Hz (-6 dB at 30 Hz).

My home set-up would be simpler using subs with passive crossovers, but could consider an active cross-over.

Recommendations? Thanks!
