Great thread but too few photos.
Here's my analog front end. TABLE: Thorens TD125ii with custom plinth. TONEARM: SME 3009ii un-improved (which is better than the improved) tonearm. CARTRIGES: Clearaudio Maestro MM cartridge for special occasion (and perfect records). AudioTechnica AT440mla for 90% of the time and those old, not in perfect shape records. I've had this set up for 4+ years. Longevity is the strongest sign of something that fits the bill well. The MM cartridges go straight into my Shindo Monbrison. I would not trade my setup for one of those $80K monster turntable or any modern turntable. They may be quieter, smoother, more accurate, etc., but this setup has "soul" and heart and deliciousness.
