Undocumented feature of the wonderful new remote... It can also be made to work with the MVP-891 BluRay/SACD player as well as the MR-88 tuner, both of which were originally shipped with "sticky remotes"....

I just ordered one through McIntosh. It took several attempts, but I finally connected. $60 plus $8.00 shipping plus sales tax. It should be on its way to me.

Mine is the HRO72 (MA8000). It's starting to show that sticky thing that others have complained about. Wonder if there's a new one for that model on the horizon.

I purchased my MA8000 (UK model) in September 2016 and it came with an HR085 remote. Nice solid plastic and real nice quality.
My MCD1100 player had the old rubber type remote and became very sticky. I had it replaced recently with an HR086. Works great and so much nicer to use. Bit expensive though contacted McIntosh and they said I had to order though a U.K. dealer was £186. Still worth it though.

Dan, got the HR093, inserted the batteries, the remote lights work- but there is no connection to my C2300?

There was no manual with the Remote.
