Default I see what the fuss is about!

Just got the D'Agostino stereo amp in on Friday, as we've got the privilege of being the first online publication to get one of these (according to Petra D'Agostino)...

Gotta say, even after a day, this is a very special amplifier. I've always enjoyed what I've heard in their room at the various shows, but now, having it in my own system to compare, it's wonderful.

I can see why those of you that have purchased this amplifier or the monoblocks like them as much as you do.

Two thumbs up.

Jeff.......Thanks. No need to read the review now.

I do want to look at your lovely photos, though.

Can't wait to read YOUR review. Thanks for the heads up!

Not to mention the Burmester 909 and 911, a pair of Simaudio 880Ms and a pair of Octave Jubilee monos....

Using the Burmester 011, ARC REF 5SE and the Robert Koda K10 for preamps.

I kind of liked it when there weren't that many of us who owned the amps. As they become more popular the haters are going to start coming out of the woodwork. That seems to happen with all popular products.

Jim.......Tell me about it! Their gear is always notably superior. Their tubes aren't soft. Their solid state is faster.

Yada. Yada. Yada.

One good thing, the D'Agostino amps certainly seem to be living up to and exceeding the attention they are receiving. I have been warming to them.

I can't even complain about the price. I've heard, owned and reviewed a LOT of amps in the $25 - $40k range, and the D'Agostino really holds it's own. I think from all the other reviews I've read, Michael Fremer's review of the monoblocks comes the closest to how I feel about the stereo amp.

Hopefully, after a few more weeks, I can have something of value to contribute. I can't see how anyone could hate this amp. Maybe the looks, but I love the aesthetic. My wife loved it too.
