Actually some species of fish can morph from male to female and back again depending on the sex of the available mates. Imagine going to a bar on a Friday night and there’s waaaay too many guys, so you change to a female! Lol

I have well water, but I first extensively filter it, then run it through a reverse osmosis system, and filter it yet again. It’s substantial filtration, but I live near farms and I don’t take any chances with pesticides and fertilizers leaching through the earth and reaching the underground aquifer that supplies my drinking water.

You have things under control with your water.

As far as fish go, yes some do but that’s not what the alarm bells are going off about in the Colorado river as well as others. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.ind...086.html%3famp

Use a filter jug at home, and, happy to say, filtered at work. It's time to replace the,er, filter block from me cupboard, so thanks for the reminder.

I am on a well at 2 separate houses, I test the water twice a year with a drinking water test kit from Health Metric. Never had a problem.
