Default This one goes to 9 ... thousands

Four very long years after selling my C4S, I finally finished scratching my itch and got delivery of a 2014 991.1 GT3. The car is almost brand new with less than 12k miles and it has all the right options. I never thought I’d own such a car and it’s a real dream come true.

I still have to pinch myself and check the parking to make sure I’m not dreaming. It has such an aggressive stance and you know this car means business.

I wasn’t sold on the black but it was the only request from my wife and I have to admit she was right. It adds to the character of the car.

Sadly we haven’t had the chance to really drive the car. The traffic was insane yesterday so the most we could do it 35mph. Though I was able to rev it to 6k for a few seconds and this is when the car comes to life. We have already planned a trip to the south of France and I’m looking at track days soon.

Ps: just a few pictures until I can do a proper shoot with my camera. More will come.

Congrats! The GT3 sure is a fun car!

Do try to get outside the traffic with it and let it stretch its legs to show you what it was built for. Especially the track.

Does it have the lift option? That chin spoiler is a magnet for everything that is not smooth on the road.. It was a welcomed feature on my later model GT3s for sure.

Thank you everyone.

I'm booking a couple of training session to get warmed-up before taking it to the track.

I had the opportunity to take it to Germany and stop by the Nurburgring but we decided to fly instead as it's only a 2 days trip and we will be busy with family.

So that will be for the next time. My wife's family lives an hour away from the track so it's definitely going to happen.
