Gumby hooks up with sexy Venom NR-V12...
The new Shunyata Venom NR-series of power cords slithered into Puma Cat's mountain lair this evening; he snagged them with his sharp claws so they couldn't sneak away.
 After warming up the C-J amplification chain thoroughly and gettin' the big voice coils in the big Dyns all warmed up, I swapped in a single Venom NR-V12 for the Shunyata Black Mamba CX power cord from the Schiit Gumby DAC to the Triton v1 tonight.... Is there an emoticon for....Gobsmacked?  Well, there should be....holy smokes!  More later, count on it. Meantime, I have to pick myself up off the floor and recover..:

Remember this post by AVPhile on June 26? https://www.audioaficionado.org/show...&postcount=120 Well, it wasn't a Delta NR I installed last night, it was the new NR-V12, but, AV was 1000% right. AVPhile, I'd predict that you, too, will be "gobsmacked" when your new Venom NR-V10 arrives. I don't think you have anything to worry about...

Thank you for reporting back. I am even more interested since you actually have also the BM CX (I have the BM-HC CX connected to my amp which I really like) and you can provide a comparison basis I can rely on. As nice as NR is, I am more looking for the elusive attribute of "musicality" if I can put it this way.
