Question to esoteric clock owners (G01 - G-0rb)

Hi,

Just got the Esoteric G-01 clock to use with the P02 D02. The improvement is very nice all around and makes this very nice system even better.

Was wondering best/correct way to feed the 02s with the output clock signal. As you know the clock has 3 output systems A, B and C, and each one has to output terminals.

Is it better to use both terminals A to feed transport and DAC (A1 and A2 outputs) and turn off B and C outputs, or use A1 for DAC and B1 for transport and turn off A2, B2 and both Cs. Or it doesn't really matter?

Initially I connected it to both As, but the manual seems to suggest to connect DAC to A and transport to B.

How do you have it connected? Do you think it makes any difference?

Thanks. I sent a mail to someone I found. Not an US customer so not sure they will give support. I think probably it will not make a difference, but was wondering how users have them and if it makes a difference or not.

I will try with time but still very early and guess breaking in so too early.

Not really much into pictures myself but will try to take some and post Ivan. They are very nicely vuild that is for sure.

By the way, esoteric did answer my mail at the end. I had missed it. They suggested to connect both to the A out terminals. And that I would not obtain a benefit for connecting one to A1 and another to B1.

This is a diferent set up of what the user manual seems to suggest. Did the change.

Initialy it sounded well, but the image 3D and staging was not as well defined. Then I remembered I had not turn off B out terminals. After doing it, staging got right on spot again. Not that it was bad with them on. It was better than without clock but it just was not as good as I had when connected to A1 and B1 with A2 and B2 off.

Have to do more listening to compare other aspects, but that one was quite eviden and picked up right awayt. I am very surprised of this. And with the clock performance in general. I would not have expected such evident changes and improvements from the clock for my experiences in the past with them

I may invest in the G-01 for my K-01 when I go back to the Cape in a few months.

Is there a major difference in SQ between the G-01 and the G-orb?, Also which one would be a better match for the K-1?
