Very cool. My dad still has a 49 Ford Deluxe Coupe with a flathead V8 in it. It was his first car. Sadly, it's sitting in his driveway pretty much rusting away.

BTW- Cadillac had the first production V-8, the "L-Head" in 1914.

Along with the first production V8 (and later, the first V16), Cadillac also gave us the electric starter and many other 'firsts' in the industry (enclosed body, sunroof, etc.).
