I have not listened to this album in eons. An excellent concept album and fantastic musicianship with the band. I especially enjoyed the song Kayleigh with Rothery's guitar solo. Good luck with your purchase.

I grew up with that album and love it to death.

What caught my immediate attention was seeing Steve Wilson involved in the project, he has been remastering Jethro Tull with pretty good success too.

Mike that is awesome how you connected with the album. This particular album was big for the progressive rock genre in the mid-80's as many of the classic 70's progressive rock bands were fading or changed direction. Have you auditioned or purchased Marillion's latest album, FEAR? I have enjoyed this one. As for your comments on Steven Wilson, I agree wholeheartedly with you. I am a little biased as you can see from my signature statement (from the Porcupine Tree tune Even Less). BTW, l bet the remastered album you are getting will sound phenomenal on your system. Let us know your experience once you get the album.

Regards

Yes, I bought F.E.A.R. on SACD and like it very much too, it reminds me of Pink Floyd's music.
Fantastic work!

Have the CD and my original vinyl which that pressing is excellent! If you can find a really nice VG+ copy you will be happy man!

But yea I will also buy this once the LP is released, pretty much a winner with Steven Wilson at the mixing board.

Never got into LP as CD's were just launched when I really started with music and was used to listening to cassette tapes before that.
