Default Where do you plug in amps ?

My reading of late indicates that some people plug their amps into Power regenerators or conditioners and others prefer to go directly to the wall socket. I've been using an older BPT conditioner for years, but wondering hoe best to to power my MC462. I'm curious what other Mac power amp users do ?

Hi MintakaX,

Have the MC462 plugged into PS Audio P10 Powerplant as well as an Acurus A250. Have the Rotel RB1590 plugged into a Furman Line Conditioner, Both the P10 and Furman are plugged into PS Audio Power Port Classics. Both Outlets also have a PS Audio Noise Harvester.

Thanks ! I've decided to get a couple of dedicated 20amp lines installed. I had those 5 years ago at my old house. After moving its impossible to tell if I missed them or not, but I think I'll feel better having them. I'm also considering buying a refurbed PS P10.

EDIT : slap -> also (WTH !)

MC1201's plugged into the wall on opposite 120 volt legs and dedicated circuits. My other less demanding Mac amps are plugged into a high current plug of a Belkin conditioner.

You bet, if I built next time the 20Amp lines, box and outlet is what I would do.

Most amplifier recommendations from users along with manufacturers are directly into the wall unless you have electrical issues that would be detrimental to performance.

Hi Buck,

Have heard the same suggestion from my Audio Technician. Have not tried it yet though.
