Given that they supposedly have about a year and a half to come up with it, let's hope it's a winner. In the meantime, check Dan's post for a preview of possibilities!

I've seen new SE version of all current Sonus line, like Cremona SE.. etc
come with ribbon tweeter instead of dome type. not sure if this is the same as Evolution model or not.

Sonus has 4 current lines plus one product that fits into its own category.

Futura, with a dome, is the new model and 5 months old.
Evoluzione, supposedly with a dome, is the new model and just being introduced.

Cremona Series has never had a dome tweeter to replace with a ribbon.

Just curious. Where and when did you see the SE?

Yes the Evoluzione has the same dome tweeter as the futura.
It also uses the same 7" midrange as the Futura, but some changes to be a fullrange.

So the Guarneri Evoluzione is not a stand mount speaker anymore?

Still waiting for some pics!

It is still a stand mount speaker. But i mean, it has the same 7" driver, only some changes to play also the lower frequencies.
I don't have pics but it looks very similar to the upper part of the Futura.
Also the same top and foot-plate fully polished Metal. Also the back in the same style :-)
The feet is different than the Momento, it is (much) thinner, looks great.

Interesting. The 7" driver should allow the Evoluzione to play lower than the Memento's 6" driver. That would be lower than 39hz, which is quite impressive for a 2-way speaker.
