Honestly, in my opinion you are going way over the top. No matter what you hear in any store it will not be the same in your home. If you are just putting together a system you will not fully understand what will end up being your preferences until you get some music going in your home.

You will make some mistakes, you will learn, you will change and evolve. The bottom line is if you are worrying so much before hand you are not giving yourself a chance to actually enjoy the music. After all, this really is the only important point anyway.

Stop driving yourself crazy and start enjoying your music.... that is my advise at this point.

I'm one of the few Avalon Acoustics owners on here.........probably no need for a separate forum since there just doesn't seem to be much interest in the U.S. in general. Avalon's market is more overseas for whatever reason.....I've never really understood why an American company such as them do not have more of a concentration on the American market.

I'm very surprise to hear that Avalon is not focus in U.S. market, because I saw a lot of user talking about it in other forum....

I'm loving mine, better than I'd hoped for. I had planned to sell them once my Salon2s come in, but after a few days with them, I'm thinking I will probably keep them for alternate duty.

For less money, I recently auditioned the Monitor Silver 8s and, like Kal, thought they were terrific, especially when price is factored in. I just happened to score a deal on my F208s so I went that way.
