Default Cataract surgery...........

Thank you AudioGremlin. I have other health issues which caused me to cancel my NHS op earlier this year, but I am hoping to feel well enough soon to have another go!

IF you are ready for surgery go for it;you would be happy with the results,it is an Elective surgery,only you know when it is time to have procedure as it start
to effect your lifestyle.
Choose a Doctor who operates on weekly basis(high volume).
I recently had surgery on both eyes with 20/20 results despite High Myopia(think of Minus 12 glasses) and vitreous detachment in both eyes. off course it was high risk surgery, i was concerned but surgeon was confident and cool. He does probably 15 cataract removal/wk
Do read about lens implant choices, what is important to you, Reading, computer,needle work or far vision, driving, night vision, as choice of lens would impact your life style, Now I can't live without a reader.
