Well then...
 Natalie loves music as much as I do. She doesn't obsess over the gear details, but I honestly believe that's because she trusts I have things under control...  We went to demo a bunch of amps, CD players and speakers together over the years, and she was a big push to go with the B&W 800D's. Could we have founded better sounding speakers - definitely. But she wanted these funny-looking, blah blah Abey Road blah blah, R2D2 bad boys in the living room. And if that's the extent of a couple's disagreements in 17 years marriage, then count me lucky! PS - you know you have a keeper when she helps polishes racing wheels.

Actually, this would make for a very good research project.. after all, there are as many women in the music business as there are men.. well I don't really know but, it is a very very high percentage...
I do think female audiophiles are a rarity.... the question is why.. I don't accept that it's because they prefer to go shopping, or chatting.. etc... men are just as adept at both those activities... Who buys Ferraris? Men or women? I think it's a safe bet that men buy fast cars. Do women like fast cars? Yes they do very much so.. but do they actually go out and buy them? I am sure there are some.. but again, probably very very few... so, is this really a fundamental difference between women and men? If so,.. why does is it substantial? Perhaps we should try and look at it from the hobby perspective... there are female hobbies.. that very few men, engage in.. okay.. I have to think about that one..
