The back of the room is open at a hall and the kitchen. There are 20 2'x4'x4" panels and 8 8' half round bass traps.

As for music, it's a big variety from soft jazz like Gets/Gilberto to bop Miles Davis to acoustic rock like Cat Stevens to classic rock like The Who Tommy, basically everything except rap or opera.
From the pics and that description you're probably good to go.

Thanks, If I do end up with the Elipsa SE it will be after a long home demo so I'll know for sure.

I love how you're able to select images for their panels...very, very cool. Good luck with your changes.

As near as I can tell the Elipsa SE is basically a slightly smaller Stradivari.
Nope, but closer in performance than the price difference would indicate. Both pressurize the room in a similar manner which is a big part of the very natural presentation they have.

The enclosure is thicker/stiffer on Strads and mids in Strad are significantly better making Strads more resolved at both ends of the dynamic spectrum. Strads also have a smoother, purer and quieter midrange.

Good luck. Elipsa SE is a very big step up, imo

I really like the sound of the SE's. I think you will be very happy if you decide to purchase them.
