Default Futura's and New Look

In case some of you might be interested, I am posting some pictures of the Remodeled Entertainment Center:

Changes:

XRT1K's for Sonus Faber Futuras
JL F113's and stands for Salamander Cabinets
ASC 16"dia 6'h round bass traps for GIK 9"square 6'h bass traps'
Olive 04, Oppo, Pioneer Receiver, 2 Velodyne theater subs all in Salamander cabinets

So, why are we selling these brand new, fantastic Futuras: We like the new look quite a bit but would really like to go more modern/contemporary in the area. We can certainly force ourselves to live with this if we have too, but change is fun and exciting.

Howard.......Thanks for posting the photos and satisfying my curiosity. I was wondering how you were doing with your concept of integration and aesthetics. I can appreciate what you are trying to achieve, and understand why the look that you presently have doesn't quite satisfy you and Val. The twin alcoves definitely present a unique challenge.

, without remodeling the alcoves I can see why you have moved on. Though that would probably cost less than changing speakers, going back to the visual advantage (and familiarity) of the line source makes sense. Give Mark a call. He can help you find the answer.

Might I suggest XRT2K's? It's probably time for Ivan to upgrade the Room!

I agree with 1KW, but it is not my castle to live in.
