Thx, Hardy.

I've ordered a pair of 800 D3 in rosenut end of 2015 . But I didn't receive any information on delivery so far.

But my major concern is: my wife doesn't like the shape of the new models...

Its was a long time to wait. But the first impressions of the sound quality is blowing me away (just out of the box with no room correction)
Awesome system!

I have the same reaction to my 802D3 and HTM1D3, which were installed Monday.

They are a little bit smaller than the 800D2. Imo They look much much better in the room. the 800D2 were much more dominant.
My wife likes the new look very much.

Same here. My wife like the looks of the D3's much more than my old D1's.

And I think they fit/look better in my room.

Wow, those are great comparison shots. The Ds look great but the D3s are stunning. They look beautiful. Outstanding system you have there, hartmann-nbg.

Cheers,

Scott

I still much prefer the D2's. It's the disproportional turbine head on the D3's that's the deal breaker for me. If either the turbine unit itself had of been larger or the mid-range driver was larger thus a need for a larger turbine head the proportions would look much better. IMO of course
