I've had some reliability issues though. The amp needed to replaced twice - once under warranty, the other I had to pay. My vote…save you money and purchase a nice JL audio sub from Ivan.

I own both the cylinder and sealed 13 ultras in the same room. After 2 years no problems, just amazing musicality. Needed the cylinder in corner behind wrap around leather couch. Integrates and blends well with my B&W 803D fronts, HTM2D2 center, and CCM683 surrounds.
In my SSP-800 I Run my fronts full range and use e-bass (lows from both subs and fronts) with crossover to 13 ultras to 70Hz. If you have space for two of the SB13 Ultras, that is my recommendation. Former owner of JL Audio subs but I prefer the SVS. |

I recently purchased a SVS SB13 Ultra and really love it. I didn't consider the SVS cylinder sub, because it's too big.

I have prefered the PB13 Ultra over the PC versions just seems to give a little more than the cylinders did...
If I were looking for a new sub though there are so many other makes that are more desirable and better performers, but for value they are good
