After listening and enjoying the improvement my first SB13 Ultra made in my room, I added a second one. Sitting here now listening to MCH sacd of Mussorgsky Pictures at an exhibition by Fritz Reiner conducting the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Those tympani's properly carry their weight with the dual SB13 ULTRAS and my B&W 803D's. listened to the Fathoms first before buying these, extremely satisfied with their customer service thru setup.

You have not gone wrong with a SVS sub. I bought an ultra back in 2004 and it is a great sub....... it is incredible how much base it puts out. My wife does not like the "water heater" but now they have several different options. CONGRATS!

I've made several changes to my system and now I want suggestions on what will be a step-up from my pair of SVS SB13 Ultras?

Hi John, do you have the SVS SoundPath Subwoofer Isolation System feet for your SB-13 Ultra?

Recently, I put these elastomer feet on my Paradigm Seismic 110 sub and they are proving themselves to be very effective at isolating the sub from floor vibrations that produce negative effects on SQ. An easy install with threaded machine screws, and at only $50 for a set of 4, they have a very high performance to price ratio. Recommended.

No, I haven't. Sounds interesting, though.

John, I just noticed the PrimaLuna HP in your signature--looks like you have finally ditched the SS amp and have come around to quality tube sound? Welcome to the club! What happened to the Pass? Sorry, but I have to rib you a little after seeing that monkeys-around-the-tube-amp pic you posted!

Oh, that was not a slight against tubes--I just thought it was funny! I got the "tube bug" after buying a Woo Audio headphone amp.
