As I rearranged audio racks to accommodate new mono amps. The current 1.5m Stage3 Gryphon are not long enough to connect pre to power amp any more.

They are MOON 850P and MOON 888
Now temporary connected by a longer Transparent Reference low Z (MM2 Series)

I am looking for a higher performance cables as a permanent cables.

Choices are
1. Transparent XL G5 (never ever heard the XL)
2. Transparent OPUS G5 ( tried this once)
3. Tara Labs EVO Zero < heard good things about these, but never had chance to listen to it.

Speaker cables are Transparent Opus G5.

Any idea about sound of XL and TARA labs ?

Hello, I had the opportunity to test the Transparent reference MM2 power cable in my amplifier, I really loved it, the sound much more open, transparent and what I liked the most well controlled bass. I have the possibility to buy the Transparent reference XL MM2, I would like to know if I will have the same effect with this cable? (controlled bass) Thank you very much. Regards.

Make sure you get that correct ... I once demo'd transparent speakers cables and thought they were terrible with the MC-601's I had at the time ... later found out the dealer had provided me with the wrong cables for the McIntosh amps! Cost them a sale as I moved on to MIT cables instead. Transparent are really good though as long as they are setup for your equipment.

Make sure the connections are nice and tight on the speakers and amp.

Measure the exact distance from one speaker center or front corner to the center of your listening chair and then the other speaker. Make sure those distances are the same. Then you can play with adjusting toe in of speakers for overall tonal balance a little at a time but also so you see same amount of "side" cabinet of each speaker from the center of your listening seat.

Sounds like your system is out of phase. Double check your connections, its easy to make a mistake.
