Are you still demoing the 1038's? I am falling in love with mine. I was worried about negative reports on the tweeter, but I am finding that to not be true. Mine sound very open and musical, highs are sweet and bottom end is just enough to satisfy me. They really seem to shine with vocals.

My demos went back earlier this week. They were truly wonderful speakers and I would highly recommend them to others that are considering Focal.

In the end I went with Bryston Model T's (and center). I could never get over my Bryston demo. The soundstage, relaxed presentation, and low end are amazing. They should be in my home before the end of June. I'll open up a new review thread at some point.

Congrats on the Model T's. Are you still planning on a Bryston amp(s)? May add that last bit of synergy to your system.
