I am interested in the thoughts of other 611 owners about using power conditioners with these amps use. I utilize two separate Shunyata Denali 2000/Ts, with Shunyata Delta XC power cables from the wall outlets and Venom V10 XCs into my 611s. I am quite pleased with the results I am getting.

Hi, new mc611 owner. This is likely a noob question but as I assembled my new gear tonight after a long wait for the AV cabinet to arrive, I ran into an odd issue. My system; Rose 150b streamer over balance out to C2600 preamp over balanced to the pair of mc611 amps to B&w 803 d3. Fired up a Roon track on the streamer and got nothing, no sound. Checked and checked connections. Finally when I turned the volume on preamp up to 65-70% I could hear it and needed to got to 95% for moderate not loud volume.
When I had the c2600 previously connected to an Anthem amp and an old pair of Paradigm towers the volume was much lower. I used 8ohm Taps os 803s are 8ohm speakers. Is there a setting I should check? Should I use 4ohm taps? Welcome suggestions.

Hey gdfein - I would try some standard connectors (RCA, unbalanced) from the Rose to the C2600 for starters. You might have a signal cancellation going on. Also check the polarity settings for the balanced connections and make sure they match throughout the system (for example pin 2 is 'hot' for all connections)

Any other source besides Rose to compare with? Is the input mode switch on back of 611 set for BAL or UNBAL? Check Trim control settings in C2600 to make sure not attenuating signal in preamp.

I have a similar setup connected via balanced XLRs from RS150B>C2300>MC501s. The C2300 and C2600 both have max input signals of 5V (Unbalanced), 10V (Balanced). There are Pre-Out Settings for the RS150 & RS150B. I have mine set at 6500mV(6.5V) on the RS150B. See attachments. Let us know if that helps.
