Thanks for the warm welcome. I ordered a Dynavector xx2mk11 today for the super scoutmaster. I will have it mounted before the arrival of the Zesto Andros. The Andros won't be here now until the Friday after this this Friday coming up.

I guess it's a long trip for it from California to Canada.

Future plans are rim drive and the classic 3 10.5 arm for the ssc tt.I stopped buying cd's a year ago and have a good collection of albums to start with.
Cheers, Greg

Zesto Audio will be in room 524 and they will be running Tad speakers, Merrill Williams turntables and Tri-Planar tonearms.....there are three other rooms using the Andros phono stage, 1011, 529 and 417.

Cool, thanks for the heads up. Will you have a room for A/V Solutions? I'd like to stop by and say hello if so.

Well, as much as I enjoyed the phonostage in my C2300, the Zesto is in another league. Like so many things audio, it's shades of gray, diminishing returns, etc but to my ears the Zesto is clearly better than the c2300, recognizably better instantly. I just did a quick A/B with the excellent pressing of Mudcrutch's self titled LP. the Zesto offers a bigger sound with more space between the performers, greater drive, a sense of increased resolution probably attributable to the very low noise floor. Bottom line, the Zesto gets my toes a tapping from the opening notes, so I guess it has better PRaT too. These findings are with Gold Lions in the C2300 and stock JJ's in the Zesto with a Moving Magnet cartridge. The Zesto is worth every penny of its relatively modest price tag.

Jason,

Can you tell me if you are experiencing any grounding issues with the Andros, or is one channel sounds louder sometimes? Did you have to engage the ground switches?
