What do you use to align your cartidges?
My Shelter 501 arrived today and I'll need to mount and align it. What would you suggest that is effective and affordable. I was thinking the Mobile Fidelity Geo Disc could be the ticket

My dealer used a Dr. Feickert Protractor and it was really easy to use and very accurate. I will be getting one soon.

I have a Feickert, Mint and expensive Uni tractor.
Honestly Don, use the VPI protractor. Harry has a unique alignment on his tables and as long as you have the cartridge parrallel and the sylus on the dot, it wll sound great. When I had my VPI HRX I preferred the VPI alignment guage to my Mint tractor. cheers |

I mirror's Jeff's suggestion - a MintLP. $100 well spent.
