Cyril,

Thank you very much !!
My son and I enjoyed a lot the vinyl production video.
I love to know how things are made and my best holidays would be to visit factories, farms and so on....

Jerome...if you are interested, I believe Michael Fremer (from Stereophile) put together 2 DVDs. The first was a guide to setting up turntables (i think he sets up a Project, Rega and VPI table). The second DVD is about how to clean, store, and take care of your records, but in the second one, he has an in-depth overview of how LPs are produced. He visits the Pallas LP plant in germany and walks through the entire process. You can order the DVDs through Amazon if you are interested. Enjoy your vacation in August.

Jerome...here are the links if you decide to look into them:

1. Amazon.com: 21st Century Vinyl: Michael Fremer's Practical Guide to Turntable… (this is the first one that goes through set-up process of 3 tables plus it has an interview with an audio engineer on the process of cutting a vinyl record)

2. Amazon.com: It's a Vinyl World After All: Michael Fremer, Kevin Gray, Steve Hoffman: Movies & TV (this is the second one that goes through record cleaning process, storage, and the overview of the LP production process at Pallas in Germany)

Enjoy!
