Default Question for REF 250 owners

I usually keep my meters & lights turned off, but I lost a light in one of the amp meters a couple of weeks ago. So, here's my question: When you power up your amps, do the lights in the meters strobe (once) just after pressing the power button? I have one amp that does and one amp that doesn't. The first time I ever noticed it (May 20th), I saw a flash and an hour later I turned on the meter lights only to realize that one of the bulbs was out. Now, the remaining bulb in that amp strobes upon start up, every time...even though the meters & lights are turned off.

I haven't called ARC, yet...thought I'd seek input from the peanut gallery, first. Thanks in advance...

I also leave meters and lights off. My right amp strobes at power on than turns off....both LEDs function when I cycle through the light setting. the left amp does not strobe at power on....but again both work as expected as I cycle through the setting. Not sure what is supposed to happen...let me know what you hear.

Well, it's my left channel that strobes, so one of us must have them on the wrong side!

Mmm, seems this is more than a coincidence. Same experience, one of my amps meter light strobes upon turn on but the other amp's does not. Fortunately for me, both meter lights are still working. I have 170 hours on my unit, how many hours have you logged, blue chario?

Wow...looks like we've uncovered something, but I'm not sure what! I'm around 500 hours, Dafos.

I have 1,800 hours on my Reference 250's, meter lights are always on and neither strobes on turn on.
