My friend doesn't have well trained ears or long experience like us.
what he buy will be the optimum between my suggestions v.s his wallet.
If only there is Reference integrated.. hmm..
I will let him choose between DSi200 or DSpre/LS27+VS115/DS225. By using ARC,
I really want him to taste ARC tube magic.
And definitely his phono stage must be PH8, that I will recommend to him.

Hi, I will Mike.
But that will be in a long future, I will send Sophia 3 to him in next 12 months, after
we both finished job training. I guess he will be choosing the less costly one between
DSpre and LS27, also the less costly between DS225 and VS115, he is new on this, so
I think he doesn't care being tube or SS, I just worried will he be able to do tubes biasing on VS115 by himself, from type of music he listening to, I guess SS amp will be better. So LS27+DS225 should do it. The same way I use R40 with Moon W7M SS amps.

Agreed.
I prefer Wilson with tube amps but I did not hear the Momentums.
Indeed, I always prefer tube amps....
