arien.......Very good. Is the fuse a Small (5x20mm) or a Large (6.3x32mm)? Which fuse manufacturer are you thinking of using?

arien.......Don't forget to give us your impressions once it is installed and be sure and try the fuse in both directions in the fuse holder. You may discover you like the sound better with the fuse in a particular orientation.

Hi Arien,

The Cable Company is running a special on HiFi-Tuning Supreme fuses, $49.95 ($10 off) and the have the 3.15A slow-blow in the small size. No affiliation other than a satisfied customer. Other retailers may have them at discount also.

Hope you enjoy them. They do make a difference.

For my experience, I really heard an improvement in my Classe SSP-800 pre/pro with the HiFi Tuning Supreme fuse. And flipping the direction did alter the sound...it sounded wider with the arrow pointing towards the chassis. From this, I then got fuses for all of my amps (bi-amped CA-M400 and CA-5200). Again, it made an improvement but not as significant as the pre/pro.

I was impressed enough that I replaced all 6 fuses in my Pathos Acoustic Classic One MkIII integrated. On this component, I didn't hear any difference.

Oh well....

Hi all, may you share how about HIFI TUNING in POWER PLANT P10? Arrow into the machine or toward the fuse holder cap, which is better?

Thanks~

d8953903.......Welcome to Audio Aficionado.

HiFi Tuning fuses in a power conditioner is something I have not tried. I suggest you experiment with fuse direction and let your ears determine what sounds best. Spend some time listening to a familiar recording then make the change and listen to the same recording again. Do the test more than once with other familiar music. You should be able to zero in on which direction the fuse sounds best. Let us know what you discover.

If you don't mind letting us know, what is your first name?
