Pink floyd to release 20th anniversary box set of 'the division bell'

• released: 30 june 2014
• previously unreleased 5.1 surround sound mix
• blu-ray disc including new 2014 film of marooned
• 2-lp vinyl featuring full-length tracks for the first time
• replica 7" and 12" coloured vinyl and much more

From reading some details, it looks like the 2 LP version will be remastered from the original analog source tapes as well. Now that's some good news!

I like the mention of the 5.1 mix. Hopefully that will be available in a package other than the main one with the vinyl.

Yep I would like the 5.1 blu by all alone, or even just sacd would work, heck even in 2ch sacd then i could play it on the K03 instead of the Oppo, not that the op is bad, but it is not the K03

I see there is now a pre-order for what they call a DVD with a 5.1 mix. The description is very vague so I'm not sure if this is the blu-ray or perhaps some low resolution legacy Dolby Digital mix. There hasn't yet been any DVD-A Pink Floyd releases that I'm aware of so it's probably not a DVD-A.

With the price being just $14.99 US that suggests DVD rather than Blu-ray I would think.

My box set arrived and the BR DTS-HD MA is absolutely worth the price of the set. Lots of goodies in the box, but the real gem is the BR!!!!
