The MP 3000 HV was list price at $13,500 some time back. I hate to think what the 3100 HV costs.

I do.

I'm happy I waited.
This offers the possibilities of the MP 3000 HV Multi Source Player and those of the PDP 3000 HV SACD Player.
Tuner, streamer, DAC, transport all in one gorgeously looking box.
If the DAC is the same as the one in the PDP, this is a terrific solution.

Remember my comparison with the Accuphase stack.
The T+A came frighteningly close.
Another customer even preferred it.

Interesting indeed. I wonder if anyone has tried f.i. an Arcam Solo Music (2nd iteration) and how this would compare to the Solo Music.

Looks the part!

With all credit to the Arcam Solo; The Arcam is to the T&A what a Fiat 500 IS to a Ferrari

It is the difference between high end (T+A) and decent stereo.
The Arcam is an all-in-one solution (with amplification onboard).
The T+A is a high end DAC with transport and streamer/tuner/bluetooth on board.
