Default New season of Top Gear coming soon

BBC has announced that the new season will start on March 5th

http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-en...-a7578906.html

The great news is that they've added Rory Reid and Chris Harris as show host. They will bring some well-needed new blood to an aging show.

The previous season was catastrophic but I have some high hopes for this one. It could rate quite high I believe.

Rory and Chris were already in the last season.

Did they drop Sabine too?

Yes but they weren't hosts. Only played in a few segments and IMO didn't have the role they deserved.

It seems like it for Sabine.

There up against an unbeatable chemistry, and Chris was a bit stilted last time, but i hope it works.

I've seen the first episode.

There was some good and some less good. The review of the FXX was simply amazing and very drool worthy. There are going to be some amazing cars in there.

you could feel that they were trying to force some joke and chemistry but it came out as too obvious. They should forget to replicate the old recipe and rather focus on doing their own thing. Once they appear more natural the show could take-off.

There is some potential here and I think more than Grand Tour. I hope htey can unlock it and move forward rather than keep focused on the past.

I've switched off part way through both episodes so far. The chemistry between the presenters is so forced. Let's hope it gets better soon!

The second episode wasn't quite good and at least we saw some amazing cars there.

The Huracan vs the Turbo S was drool worhty.

I don't like the stilted studio segments - as you said, too much trying to be the Clarkson, Hammond and May.

But that segment is why Harris rocks as a Top Gear host.

Speaking of the M2, I just saw an M2 Pure in the local dealership last weekend. $105k. In black.

How do I hide this from the missus?

The Giulia segment is Harris at his best again.

Last week's episode was possibly this season's best

The Aston segment was decent.

Had the biggest smile when Sabine was in her element - in the Clubsport S.

She is simply stunning.
