Default High End Streamer or Music Server with integrated DAC

Just wondering why there are not more high end streamers or music servers with integrated DAC (in the 5-10k price range).

The Lumin S1 seems like the only viable option.

It's puzzling indeed, given the fact that it's the most efficient user-friendly option to replace CD players.

I think the Esoteric N-05, along with the Lumin is a very good option in that price range.

Dan...The A10 looks very promising. I see it's also MQA enabled.

hmmm ... Aurender A10 ... interesting indeed

I saw the product before but was concerned about the performance of the DAC.
My thinking was Aurender is specialized in "DAC-less" streamers. Will they really do a good job integrating a DAC?

Will this A10 be as good ... or hopefully better than my CD player?

And how come the A10 comes in at a lower price than the N10 whilst it does integrate a DAC? What have they compromised on?

Guess there is only one way to find out ...

NAD M50.2 w/BluOS, retails for $4k.

The BluOS is fantastic. I use it with my Bluesound Node 2. My Node 2 has been rock solid; no dropouts, no hiccups, it just works every time I hit play. If needed, the Bluesound/NAD support is outstanding.

Cheers,

Scott
