Man, thanks for posting......some of the visuals in this look stunning, even for a Star Wars film. Only hope the story lives up to the hype we all imagined when learning about the plot and stolen plans in A New Hope.

Looks amazing! Thank you Ivan for posting this! Mads Mikkelsen is a most notable add to the cast, incredibly solid acting. Anybody see him in the series "Hannibal" or any of his many movie appearances?

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
Saw it in IMAX 3D on the largest screen in the world... It was great! So much better than Force Awakens! Great ending! Can wait for blu-ray so I can watch it over and over!
The only thing I really felt was missing was John Williams score. Just wasn't the same and felt empty.

Saw it last night. Really thrilling, good story telling and and all around good film, quite a bit more "adult" than some of the others. Pretty enjoyable and the acting was a bit better than some of the other Star Wars movies. One thing I really enjoyed was all the little shout outs to the original trilogy and other "easter eggs" that a sharp eye will catch. No spoilers here, but I will say the final 5 minutes of the film will give you chills. Worth the price of admission alone.

The wife didnt like the pacing.
And the cinema I watched it in - the dialogue/accents made it hard to follow who's who in the first few scenes. It made the exposition harder to follow initially. But I thought the pacing was OK.. could it be a little tighter in the editing? maybe But I had no major complaints. Possible spoilers: I didnt love the CGI Tarkin and Leia. Maybe in years to come, there might be a "Special"ised Edition where they make the eyes of the CGI characters have life. Right now the eyes are just dead - and it was distracting. I get that they couldn't have it any other way. Tarkin's politicking wasn't a minor plot point - this was how he ended up usurping the Death Star as his personal project. I loved the angles and the use of real life actors in most of the action sequences as opposed to CGI. It made the combat gritty and real. And you are more invested in the characters. I think when you rewatch Ep4 afterwards, you will get that greater sense of emotional impact about the loss the Rebellion suffered to get those plans. And it is also pivotal in showing how they moved from a rag tag movement to become a real rebel alliance. I loved how much more menacing the Stormtroopers are with real life actors and how they are less comical than the "how did they graduate from shooting range tests?" versions in ANH. These guys were hitting targets as often as the good guys. And Darth Vader - really kicks ass. The way he single handedly mowed down the Rebel soldiers.. that was both awesome and scary at the same time... when he lights up that lighsaber in the darkness and you finally see him. WOW This movie is a fan service for sure.. but it is also powerful and poignant. Not quite Platoon powerful.. but thank the Maker Lucas wasn't involved in this  And that droid!!! That was just inspired.
