Very nice AudioQuest. Where did you get the theater seats? Are they comfortable? I need to replace mine. I made a big mistake and purchased 8 seats made of bonded leather. Want to get genuine leather. To all out there,
NEVER,NEVER,NEVER, buy bonded leather.

Thank you. Yes, never get bonded leather, it’s a ruse. If you use them often, and you sure will since you are either watching movies or listening to music, the bonded leather peels after a while. I purchased the home theater seating from the Big Screen store, all demo models, but Palliser all leather. I don’t care if the front row is a beige lighter leather and the rear is black, they are functional and add contrast.

Just adding my $0.02. This is a visually stunning, well-thought out setup. When you get to this level of this hobby especially (but for any level above the very basic, really), audio is very much a visual experience as well (McIntosh in particular as we all know hit this note pretty solidly).

Nice photos as well. This is more or less the type of system I'm aspiring to. Fairly minimal, showcasing the components as they deserve to be (as opposed to hiding them to satisfy...well, I won't go there, but we all know this battle that sometimes gets waged within a household). I'll post photos of my modest (and admittedly temporary) setup once I figure out how to get the images hosted, but you will see very clearly that this type of configuration is exactly where I'm pointed. It will take several more years and much saving to get there, but this is my passion, and I'm very excited to have established the beachhead with my new integrated amp.

Congratulations on building a true dream of a system and having put so much thought into the visual aspect. It's something you should be very proud of, and I can't even imagine how great it must sound. Those speakers are worth more than my bloody car!

Just picked up two MC611 and a C49 yesterday. Can’t wait to unbox. Current setup is B&W 802N with Rotel RB-1590 And Rotel 7.1 RSP receiver and 2 SVS PB16 Ultra. Decided that I won’t use this space for surround sound so I’ll use the c49 and hook up the speakers and subs and have dedicated stereo and flip the switch to turn on subs to still support tv audio out via optical.

Current setup
