Default iSilverback coming home

I purchased a pair of Silverback and sent it in for the "i" or "mk2" upgrade + Silvertoe footers. I also got the dealer to replace all the midrange drivers and woofers. So, they're essentially new.

They should arrive in 1-2 weeks.

Looking for all the tips on placement.

Congrats. I've wanted to hear the Silverbacks for some time. I had the Super 8 and Nines and enjoyed them quite a bit.

Thanks gents! Will post some pics ASAP.

I will drive them with CC80. Talked to Jonathan and Matt about other lower power Shindo mono-block. They all think the CC80 and CCQ are the best amps for the Silverback.

You must be excited, having to wait is the hardest part. Tommy, it's interesting how your system has changed in the last few years.

Hmm, Jonathan and Don (my dealer) suggested the Lafon GM70's for my Silverbacks

Sent from my iPad using A.Aficionado

Interesting. I asked Matt about the D'Yquem (18W into 8ohm). He said my CC80 is the better fit. The Lafon is only (10W into 8ohm).
