If you consider carts below $10k: Lyra Etna, Allnic Puritas, Transfiguration Proteus. Perhaps not the last word compared to those you mention though a great 'table and arm combo ccould lift them beyond expectations.

If you don't mind a couple questions... What led to chosing the big Ascona 'table and choosing the Graham arm for it?

Ascona - I am a big believer there is no substitute for mass when it comes to resonance control. I also like Gunther's platter design. The table is exceptionally quiet.

Elite - Primarily references from friends.

Thanks. At ~175lbs, plenty of mass there! Good luck with your cartridge search. Perhaps another for your list is the Dynavector XV-1t.
