I had the Hf2. Sounds flat, a bit too flat for me. No musical excitment.

Has anyoen tried the sennehiser HD380pro?

I dont own any audiophile grade headphones, just the Bose Quiet Comfort 3's. Very nice package but rather costly an item! Anyway, very comfortable and sound good too!

Right now I am waiting for the new Ultrasone Edition 8's. I loved the old Edition 9's but from the reviews the Edition 8s are going to be even better.

I can see how someone would think that. They are in-ear canal phones and the effect certainly isn't visceral. Etys are an acquired taste but I've been using their ER-4Ps for a long time. I would characterize the Hf2 as accurate. YMMV.
