I realize that this isn't the subject of this thread, but I have to say that virtually all the reviewers of the new Camaro (magazines, online) say the same thing and I agree, but I sat in one and the new Vette that was right next to it and I really couldn't see a difference and nobody complains about the Vette ! ... And of course you can add that you are way closer to the ground in the Vette.

I just couldn't resist. On Tuesday, the M Performance rear diffuser and the exhaust gets fitted.

Was told a couple of weeks ago that the M Performance rear diffuser was out of stock so had been checking out the Akrapovic system which has a matching diffuser too.

I still prefer the M Performance sound, but that Akra looks great and runs twin pipes all the way before joining the downpipe/cat

Turns out the M Performance is built by Akrapovic too so that isn't a bad thing.

For 2018, you might be able to get the M2 Competition.

The car itself seems to be finalized - it's in the list of upcoming cars from BMW. But the spec itself is still not known.

Rumors are - S55 engine from the M3/4 but detuned (not the modified N55 engine in the current M2), different wheels and bumper.

The TT is a gorgeous car and that new RS engine is a peach. And is probably a better daily driver all year round than the RWD M2 [emoji51] in some parts of the world. And the interior does look good too.

But it doesn't come in manual - which was one of the things I wanted for the second car.

Your right it does not offer the manual tranny.
In my case where I live we have bumper to bumper traffic so the last thing I want is a manual.
Been there many-many times and I do think they are fun to drive but a real pain where I live.

The 400 H/P 5-Clinder engine in the TT RS is amazing.
And the sound from it with the sport exhaust is Killer.

Ah crap. I made myself a liar even when I posted this. I had already ordered the Akrapovic matte carbon mirror caps to be installed on Monday. Forgot all about it.

I would have preferred a full Akra system down to the exhaust. But I'd already ordered and paid for the M Performance.

Hope it isn't too tacky to get the Akra mirror caps only. [emoji51]
