Interesting. I like the design of the exhaust, they remind me a bit of the F430 Speciale or the McLaren 675LT design.

The wing is also new and for the first time in a 911 would open on the full length. I'm curious to see the full car.

Ahem, you mean "muscular"! Besides, the big booties are all the rage with the younger generation.

Dave - for me, proper 911 styling ended with the advent of the massive 5mph bumpers of the '74 model. Am always surprised how large the newer 911 is compared to my '73 911, which itself, was large compared to my '65 356SC.

Not a fan, The sleekness of the 911 platform has disappeared. This new one is one step off of fugly to me. No offense meant anyone.
Regards,
Jim

Default 2019 Porsche 911

While I recognize the beauty and simplicity of the old air cooled cars, the 911 has evolved.
Of course not all water cooled iterations have been great (the 996 was awful), but both the 997 and 991 are very good cars with technology and performance specs that no air cooled Porsche can match.
Of course an air cooled Porsche can be made into a beast and brought up to date with the newest technology. Just bring one to Singer (oh and also bring several hundred thousand dollars) and you get the best of both worlds.
That said, I reserve judgement on the 2019 until I get to see it in the flesh.

Too early to judge, these are just the prototypes running around. Pretty soon we should see the finished 992 product as they will be available in the fall this year.
