Let's stop bickering about who kilt whom!! . Hopefully someone got that. Anyway back to more interesting stuff:

Listening to White Ladder - David Grey. A 16/44 recording which I was never fond of recording wise. And the title track is now doing tricks with a percussive sound keeping the beat. I'd say it was a drum but it isn't. Some knocking noise. It is coming about 30 ft behind me from my kitchen. I think someone else put this album on too. Haha. I'll keep listening

Tim.......I enjoy that album. David Grey's voice and arrangements remind me a bit of Bob Dylan in his electric era, only David Grey's voice and band are better. I have used that album more than once when reviewing gear. I like it.

My understanding is he recorded that album in his apartment. I have seen him multiple times and have grown to really like his quirkiness on stage....if you have seen him you know what I mean. Haha.

Dan great write up and review .

Thank you much for this work and the link to learn about yours and other experiences with the unit.

I think if I get one I want to add the iPower power supply, and a 1 foot wireworld platinum cable too.

I got mine from Amazon (they might be sold out). Pretty sure Music Direct carries them. I also think I read that Ivan said he was going to be carrying them.... Not sure on this one.

Dave.......Thanks for your kind words.

I ordered my iFi iPower 9 volt power supply from Music Direct. It should be here next week. The 9 volt ones were back ordered but I believe they are now in stock. Music Direct has a great return policy so if I don't find the iFi power supply to be an improvement over the W4S power supply, I will simply return it. I have to tell you the Recovery is sounding excellent with its own power supply.
