Thinking of getting the PS-520 for front-ends (cdp+pre). If it turns up well, will probably try/compare their PS-1220 against my PS Audio P10 to power amps.
Or if anybody else has had any experience with both these units and care to chime in any insight would be appreciated.
I'm interested in this as well.

With all Accuphase gear, I would use nothing less than their PS520 or PS1220.

I know this is an old thread but I'm thinking of purchasing an older Accuphase power supply to run my cdp and pre-amplifier. Anyone have any experience with the older PS-510/500? Think this is a worthy addition? Thanks!

HI!!
Have you tried this combo with and without the Ps-520?

i have the e470 with the dp550 and wanted to know if there´s a much difference in the sound with the Ps-520 from without ...
anyone else in EU that has any experience using the PS520 ... im asking because i heard from a dealer (Accuphase) that in most EU country a power supply
is not necessary and I been split whether I should invest in better power (PS520), power amplifier (p7000) or a dac (dc37)

As now PS1230 has been introduced.
PS530 will follow soon..

PS-1230, the version-up model of clean power "PS-1220" was popular. Review the whole circuit, the connection between the power unit and a higher accuracy of the reference signal generator that to balance transmission, we are working to further low distortion modulus of the output waveform. Price is ¥ 700,000 (excluding tax

Hi frisqo,
The instrument mentioned by TommyC is a simple voltmeter. Any voltmeter or multimeter could do the same job.

However what is more important is the cleanliness of the sinewave of your power. (The PS units are clean power supplies.)
To check this, you'd need an oscilloscope; a simple voltmeter cannot do the job.

Could any user of ps520 pm me the price of ps520? It seems this unit in the US is not as popular as in Asia. Thx!
