Power is always a tough subject for me to really grasp. Dependent upon your types of music preference and the level at which you listen. I listen to virtually no electronic music or rap, house, etc. My need for power is much less than one who enjoys such material.
95% of the time we are only using or need 2-5 watts. On hard transients, this number can spike exponentially and that's where the need comes from.
According to Art Dudley's review in Stereophile, he figured 50 quality watts was enough to really do them justice. The minimum I would be using would be a 60-75 watt amplifier of some sort. Likely tubes. I am assuming this will do them justice, at least I hope it will...
