Georges,

They do not care about increasing their sales. They are craftmen. And they have a long waiting list.

+1

Their web presence is minimal, email or even better call.

I echo what others have said, 1st class and courteous service - I speak as a happy customer of theirs (Benz Wood SL) and am not affiliated to them.

The first google entry I see is this Web page.

Granted it is not an on-line storefront with a shopping cart, but (as it notes) the above linked page describes the company and its offerings. My earlier post offered the postal and phone contact information.

I realize people use the Web differently. If I were to contemplate sending a cartridge for repair I'd want to be in direct contact with someone so I'd know what to expect. Maybe sending them an e-mail or giving a call will yield further info. Nowadays audiophile world has shrunk enough to require a global context.
You clearly have not understood what I was looking for.

Anyway, I have the answer to my inquiry.

Default More information on the company...

Hello folks,

Interesting stuff :

Mail received from Expert Stylus and Cartridge Co :

I am writing to thank you for the article forwarded to audioaficionado.org. There are occasions in business when it is very important to ensure client satisfaction, it is something we insist on.

Our company has been in business 48 years and Mr Wyndham |Hodgson developed the very first nude diamond for the Decca company. He went on to produce commercial quality diamonds using low vacuum techniques together with silver copper eutectic braze. The development resulted in a complete breakthrough allowing the record industry to offer low cost diamonds. During the heyday of vinyl, our company quality controlled the EMI and Decca manufacturing plants for over 28 years. We are currently the largest manufacturer of sapphire and diamond styli for the retrieval of recorded sound with over 100 profiles. We produce sapphire and diamond styli for all vintage phonographs including Edison, Pathe, Berliner etc.

I do hope this information will help you to understand why we insist on giving all clients a truly professional service.
