What are your impressions of the Paua? What was the previous cart?

Thx, Dave. Especially at the performance level of the DP80.
Will be interested in your impressions once all setup. Given that is the CF variant it should be a great starting point. 12" can come later, as it did for me.

Been weighing my cartridge/headshell combinations and my three MCs are within 0.2g of one another. Using a pair of Jelco HS-25 (AT33R & Lyra Kleos) and a Yamamoto HS-4 (K-b). They were all close enough in weight that I was able to add washers, or not, under the nut or a nut under the screw-head in the case of the K-b with its blind-holes to add a bit of weight and not have to shorten the screw. Once I get them all adjusted, swapping carts will be easy.

Just added a Ortofon Cadenza Black into the mix. Will be interesting to compare to the other MCs.

Do you mind me asking what other cartridges you compared the Cadenza black to?

I had a Quintet Bronze and noticed a worthwhile improvement going to the Quintet Black. The MM Black to Quintet Black was not so drastic, but I’ve been told the MM Black is some superspecial anomaly and outperforms other cartridges 3-4x’s its price. Can’t seem to find a Cadenza Black to hear in person but that was next on my list of possible upgrades. Would love to hear your impressions on auditioning it and how it compared to other options you listened to.

The other carts I have r n my sig line. Difficult to 'compare' carts as most dealers r either far & few between or only have a few carts, if any. Experience tells me I like the Ortofon 'house sound'.

I hope very soon I'll have this nice guy!

I've always wanted a real turntable, but I decided to buy it only now. I was searching for a good option everywhere in the internet and finally I've found some useful review of budget turntables and decided to order one I liked most of all.
